Strange Horizons--well-deserved

Another observation about the World Fantasy Award finalists--Strange Horizons really deserved this nomination. Those folks must bust their butts to get content up every week, and, at least for fiction, they pay a decent amount. I read every fantasy story on their site in 2006 and the overall quality was quite high.In past years, the reviewing has been inconsistent, but, in general, I think that through much of 2006 and now 2007, the reviewing has caught up with the fiction--mostly really good, analytical stuff, with any faults on the too snarky end (sometimes a blessing considering the spinelessness of many reviewers) or over-thought (better than under-thought). Their regular columnists are often quite good, too.Jeff
