The Surgeon's Tale a Finalist for the Million Writers Award

I'm thrilled to report that the story Cat Rambo and I co-wrote, "The Surgeon's Tale," is one of the ten finalists for the Million Writers Award sponsored by storySouth. It originally appeared on the Subterranean website (thanks, Bill Schafer).I don't like pimping my own stuff for awards, but in this case it's for best online fiction for 2007, so everything is, of course, online, which means it's a level playing field. And Cat Rambo is way cool, which shouldn't affect your vote but does affect my decision to suggest you vote.So, if you liked "Surgeon's Tale," please go vote for it--assuming you like it better than the other nine stories nominated.
